1. General Information
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all visitors to the Follow the Nordic website and users of our services.
1.2 The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Follow the Nordic, operated by Tmi Johanna Maarit Heikkinen (Business ID: 3241324-8).
2. Services and Bookings
2.1 Service Description: Follow the Nordic provides guided nature tours, outdoor activities, and related services in the Oulu region.
2.2 Bookings: All bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation of your booking will be sent to your email after payment.
2.3 Payments: Payments must be made in full at the time of booking. Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Customer Cancellation:
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour date are non-refundable.
3.2 Company Cancellation: Follow the Nordic reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather. In such cases, customers will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
3.3 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation.
4. Safety and Liability
4.1 Customer Responsibility:
- You are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity.
- You must inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements.
4.2 Participation at Own Risk: All activities are undertaken at your own risk. Follow the Nordic does not provide liability insurance, and we strongly recommend that customers have their own travel and medical insurance.
4.3 Liability Limitations: We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that occurs during the tour, except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct by Follow the Nordic.
5. Use of Photos and Videos
5.1 Follow the Nordic reserves the right to take photos and videos during tours and activities for promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on social media, the company website, and marketing materials.
5.2 If you do not wish to appear in public photos or videos, contact us as soon as possible info@followthenordic.com. We will make every effort to exclude you from such materials.
6. Conduct and Behavior
6.1 Customers must follow the instructions of their guide at all times.
6.2 We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers themselves, others, or the environment. No refund will be provided in such cases.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Follow the Nordic unless stated otherwise.
7.2 You may not copy, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.
